We were very lucky to be chosen as Toy Testers for Imooore's 3d Puzzle campaign. We got the opportunity to test out the 3D Parent and Baby Crocodile Puzzle in exchange for our honest opinion. We were under no obligation to review the product anywhere other than the feedback form but we love the products so much I felt they deserved their own blog post- especially as Imooore toys may not be a brand you are familiar with.
Iris really enjoys creating fictional characters and scenes so figurines are a big part of our everyday play. These 3D Parent and Baby Puzzles are great for creative story telling play. They are non-gender specific as there are no identifying features to indicate sex so it could easily be a Daddy and Baby rather than the traditional Mother and Baby pairing. They are great for role playing different kinds of families and as the baby is supplied with a crib it is great for role playing care giving.
The toys are dual purpose as they are figurines but also puzzles. First you build the skeleton then fix the outer body over the skeleton. I love this idea as children are often frightened of skeletons, these toys help to explain anatomy to them and understand that skeletons are just part of the body. The puzzle element helps improve hand-eye coordination and as it fits together using magnets it encourages a lot of questions and in our case experimenting what other surfaces it will stick to.
The quality is fantastic, it's very well made and well packaged. The material used is really smooth with no sharp edges. The removable parts are sturdy and perfect for little hands to grasp. The toy is easy to assemble and dismantle- it even comes with a story book to encourage taking apart and re-building.
I've been so impressed with this toy, I've not really seen anything else like it. A quick look through the imooore website tells me quirky, education based toys seem to be the brands forte. One thing that has impressed me is the affordability of the toys. A parent and child set, complete with rocking crib and story book is less than £20! For something that is so well made and so versatile I think that is a bargain and it would make a perfect gift for younger children.
Thanks For Reading

Thank you for supporting me on my journey to raise awareness about mothers on the autistic spectrum. We do exist, we just need people to know we do!
