Living Arrows | Easter Pancakes

'You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth' Khalil Gibran.

Hooray for being able to see people! We've begun taking very tentative steps towards 'normal' and we met up with my sister-in-law, my niece and my father-in-law (they live together so one household). It's been so nice for the two cousins to play together, they get on so well as they are only 3 months apart in age and are often mistaken for twins. We went for a walk to the local park and then on an adventure to the crepe van that's touring the local area.

Madame Crepe has been such a joy throughout lockdown. It's ran by the most friendly French lady and she's been touring all the local towns and villages since last summer. She posts an itinerary on her Facebook page so you know in advance where she'll be. It's been so nice to have a trip to the 'pancake van' planned. In times when everything is shut and you can't go out for a meal, having something planned feels like such a treat. Local businesses like this deserve all the success they've had during these turbulent times because they really have been a light in all this darkness and as you can see by Iris's face- it's something to get very excited about!

Thank you for supporting me on my journey to raise awareness about mothers on the autistic spectrum. We do exist, we just need people to know we do!
