Hooray! We made it- Happy 'Rule of 6' day everyone! How are we all feeling about it? I'm not going to lie, I'm apprehensive but I met a friend for a walk today and it was just the tonic I needed. We walked through town after school drop off and got coffee then walked down the local canal where it was nice and quiet. I was pleased to see that town wasn't too busy. I anticipated that a change in rules may have sent people crazy, thinking they could do what they want but so far so good.
Iris is at school this week as they don't break up for the Easter holidays until Thursday in our area. She's been very excited going into school this week as they are hatching ducklings! I'm following the schools parents page like it's a soap opera- I'm very investing in these chicks. So far Quack-Quack and Fluffy have hatched and they are so cute. I fully anticipate Iris wanting to bring one home. I'll have to keep an ear out for mysterious 'cheeps' coming from her school bag! Thanks For Reading,

Aww what a sweet photo of your girl, and those ducklings are adorable! Hope you have a wonderful, well deserved Easter break!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh those ducklings are beautiful! Like you, I'm apprehensive about the changes but we're being sensible and sticking to the rules and not doing things just because we're allowed. Everything in moderation! x
ReplyDeleteWe didnt break up until Thursday either so its been pretty hetic. So far we have seen one set of parents. But we did go to the beach the other day and not only were there more than 6 people meeting, but obviously more than two families! Hope you have had a lovely Easter weekend x
ReplyDeleteI'm quite happy the Rule of 6 is back - also bit nervous but it's lovely all being able to see my mum and sister at the same time :) x
