'You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth' Khalil Gibran.
I haven't written anything on the blog for a long time and the thing I have genuinely missed the most is these Living Arrows posts. It's so nice to take some time out to look over the pictures from the week and choose one that reflects Iris enjoying her childhood, now more than ever.
Times are strange at the moment. The world as we knew it doesn't exist anymore, there's no playgroup. no music classes, no trips to mama's house but there is still fun, playing and climbing trees! This was Iris's first time up a tree. She laughed for the first five seconds then declared that she 'doesn't like heights' and wanted to get down....then she wanted to get back up again. I don't think there is anything more reflective of childhood than that!
Thanks for reading,

I don't think you can go wrong with climbing trees - in a world of uncertainty, just go climb a tree! Sounds good to me! x
ReplyDeleteShe certainly looks like she's enjoying herself in this picture! #LivingArrows
