Living Arrows | There's A Toddler On The Loose!

What The Redhead Said Living Arrows UK Parenting Blog Link Up Khalid Gilbran Quote

'You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth' Khalil Gibran.

Back to blogging and back to our favourite post, our weekly Living Arrows photograph. A link up sharing a snap shot of life as a child and what better celebration of childhood than a family party where you get to put on your best party dress, your fancy new shoes and you get to strut (and I mean strut!) your stuff on the dancefloor.
Toddlers and dancefloors are a match made in heaven. There's lights, music and a captive audience for you to entertain, never mind the band, all those people are here to watch you own that dancefloor and own it she did! This little lady never stopped running round for the whole party. She tried to catch the shiny disco lights, tried to climb the stage to join the band and I am proud to say she even attempted her very own Peter Kaye knee slide.

I adored watching her have so much fun and it was a privilege to watch her bring so much joy to others too- after all is there anything cuter than toddler dancing? We received many compliments on her lovely Next dress but most importantly we received compliments on how well she sat and ate and her happy, upbeat temperament. It is always a pleasure to be commended for our parenting but credit to Iris for being such a contented little spirit.

  2. I remember this so well - the lights, the sounds and the pure euphoria of a tot on the dancefloor! She looks so beautiful in her dress x

Thank you for supporting me on my journey to raise awareness about mothers on the autistic spectrum. We do exist, we just need people to know we do!
